Studio Ghibli's The Boy and the Heron Gets First Merchandise Reveal

Studio Ghibli has revealed its first round of official merchandise for The Boy and the Heron, the latest film directed by Hayao Miyazaki soon set to debut in U.S. theaters.
Released domestically as How Do You Live?, Miyazaki's The Boy and the Heron premiered in Japan earlier this year and is rapidly approaching its North American theatrical debut on Dec. 8. Studio Ghibli's official online shop, Donguri Sora, now offers a wide variety of items based on the film, with the collection including books, plush toys, statues, mini-figures, keychains, puzzles and coin purses. The site is also selling The Boy and the Heron's soundtrack, which features tracks by Joe Hisaishi and Kenshi Yonezu. Purchased individually, the prices range from 660 yen (about Usd $4.50) to 19,800 yen (approximately $134).
