Update: Well, wouldn’t you know it. Not only did, as the following original story from January 2024 note, The Accountant 2 would be filming in March, it’s now wrapped up production. Inverse reports that filming is complete, and the aim now is for an April 2025 release date.

Don’t worry if you completely forgot about 2016 action thriller The Accountant – director Gavin O’Connor and star Ben Affleck haven’t. According to World Of Reel, the long-in-gestation sequel is set to go into production in March, with its release currently pencilled in for the following spring.
