Monkey D. Luffy is now recognized as one of the strongest pirates in One Piece. He ate the Human-Human Fruit, Model: Nika – a Devil Fruit that gives his body the properties of rubber. He awakened his Devil Fruit in Wano, and this new form is called Gear 5.
