Kelly Osbourne Denies Using Ozempic For 85-Pound Weight Loss
Television personality Kelly Osbourne shut down Ozempic rumors after she underwent an 85-pound weight loss transformation. Osbourne, daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, said she went on a weight loss journey after the birth of her first son with Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson.
“I had gestational diabetes, and I had to lose the weight that I had gained during pregnancy,” Osbourne said in an interview with Extra. “Otherwise, I was at a higher risk of actually getting diabetes, which I did not want. I cut out sugar and carbohydrates, and I rapidly lost weight.”
Ozempic, a type 2 diabetes drug, has grown in popularity on social media due to its rapid weight loss effects. Osbourne’s mother, Sharon Osbourne, has been open about using Ozempic to help her lose 42 pounds. Sharon claims she stopped using the drug because she did not like the way she looked at 92 pounds.
