Crunchyroll announced today that it’s updating the pricing for its Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan subscription tiers in select countries—the platform's first pricing change since 2019—reflecting the company’s investment in more anime, additional services like music and games, and additional subscriber benefits. The change will impact pricing in Argentina, Colombia, France, Portugal, the United States and select additional countries. As part of these updates in the United States, the Mega Fan tier will increase to $11.99/month (from $9.99/month), while the Ultimate Fan tier will increase to $15.99/month (from $14.99/month). The existing Fan tier will remain unchanged at $7.99/month. The Crunchyroll free-trial period has also shifted to seven days of free viewing from the previous 14 days.
