The perception of vampires has changed drastically throughout pop culture. From the eerie and mysterious quality of Dracula to the bloodthirsty creatures of the night and then the sparkling immortals, there are various depictions of the legendary monsters. Vampires appear in many genres, including horror, fantasy, and drama.

Different viewers are likely looking for far different interpretations of the blood-drinking creatures of the night. Compared to common horror and fantasy characteristics of vampires, some great films focus on action overall. From the horror icons Vampires (1998) and From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) to the intense drama of Daybreakers, some vampire-centric movies have great action scenes.
