It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 17 Gets Filming Update From Danny DeVito

Danny DeVito reveals that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia season 17 is set to begin filming in September. The long-running comedy show has already been renewed through season 18. This filming schedule could mean that season 17 will premiere in early 2025.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Danny DeVito has seemingly revealed when the new season will begin filming. The long-running comedy show about a group of Philadelphian bar owners, which also stars Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, and Kaitlin Olson, has been running on FX and then Fxx since it premiered in 2005, with more than 170 episodes under its belt at the time of writing. Although the next installment will be It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia season 17, the show was renewed for four seasons in 2020, which will extend its run until at least season 18.

On Twitter, Deadline shared a red carpet interview with Danny DeVito discussing the upcoming season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
