Vince Vaughn Is a Quirky Detective in New Bill Lawrence Comedy
The quirky crime-solver series just welcomed a new member to its ranks. Apple TV+ just shared a first look at Bad Monkey, a new comedy from Bill Lawrence that stars Vince Vaughn as a suspended Miami detective desperate to make his way back on to the force. The series is based on Carl Hiaasen's cult novel of the same name, and is set to premiere August 24.
While slumming it as a health inspector in the Florida Keys, Andrew Yancy (Vaughn) stumbles upon his ticket back to the Miami Pd after a human arm is found by tourists out fishing. In order to solve the murder, Yancy will have to deal with "a trove of Floridian oddballs and one bad monkey."...
