Mature Star Wars Parody Comic Gets Creators Into Legal Trouble

Whenever a certain franchise is popular there are bound to be references and parodies from all cross media. Star Wars is no acceptation to that rule. From movies such as Spaceballs and Thumb Wars poking fun at the scenarios to skits in Saturday Night Live there is always something to make sport of. Including in the form or materials meant for “older audiences”.
That is what comic creators Mike and Mindy Wheeler were doing. They were/are in the process of making a comic titled “Star Whores: Episode IV – A New Hoe”. A mature themed parody comic based on Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. The couple have also produced mature parody comics in the past such as “Trip Story” (Toy Story) and “G-Busters” (Ghostbusters).
