The Acolyte Episode 3 Explores a New Perspective on the Force - Main Image

The recently-aired episode 3 of The Acolyte offered a new perspective on the Force that is different from any of the previous portrayals that we've seen before in the Star Wars franchise.

The flashback episode gave us the backstory of the twin characters Osha and Mae set around 16 years before the present-day events of the series and how they ended up getting separated in a tragic event.

With its High Republic setting, the series has an opportunity to explore new mythology and lore that we haven't seen in the live-action projects, and the new episode expanded the concept of the Force in ways the franchise hasn't done in the past.
