Oprah Winfrey Hospitalized With An IV – What’s Wrong?
Oprah Winfrey was scheduled to be on her Bff’s talk show, on Tuesday, June 11. However, she was unable to make an appearance.
While the audience may have been disappointed, Gayle King let them know on CBS Mornings that her friend was rushed to the hospital, is on an IV, and things were serious.
Winfrey was supposed to help promote a new book that was a part of Oprah’s Book Club by David Wroblewski. More details on Oprah’s condition, are below.
Oprah Winfrey Hospitalized – What Happened?
When it came to the “why” Oprah was hospitalized, Gayle noted it was a bad stomach bug. She’d go on to say, “She had some kind of stomach thing — stomach flu — stuff was coming out of both ends. I won’t get too graphic. Needless to say, she ended up in the hospital, dehydration, had to get an IV, it was a very serious thing.
