Studio Pierrot To Produce New Magical Girl Anime Series After 26 Years
Studio Pierrot will be reviving its iconic ‘Pierrot Magical Girl Series‘ with a brand-new anime, after 26 years since the broadcast of Fancy Lala in 1998.
The announcement coincides with the 40th anniversary of the final episode of Pierrot’s very first magical girl anime, Magical Angel Creamy Mami, which aired exactly 40 years ago on June 29, 1984.
An illustration and a Pv were also revealed to commemorate the announcement of the new series. The illustration features the tagline, “I want you to sing once more“.
More details on the anime, such as the title, plot, release date, cast, and staff, are yet to be revealed.
