Marvel Officially Debuts New Star-Lord (& Peter Quill's Replacement Has Surprise Connection to an MCU Icon)
Marvel Comics introduces a new version of Star-Lord in the Annihilation 2099 series. Starlord 2099 is a "Wakandan tech goddess" who guards the solar systems of 2099 and wields a hammer similar to Thor's Mjolnir. The character is set to appear in Annihilation 2099 #2, releasing on July 10.
