Pat Sajak Returning For A Final Spin As Host Of ‘Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune’
Pat Sajak, who retired in June as the longtime host of Wheel of Fortune, will be back for a final run as host of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, which premieres October 7 on ABC. The news was revealed today in the network’s fall premiere dates announcement. Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, along with Press Your Luck, will air Mondays when ABC doesn’t have a Monday Night Football game. The 10 p.m. slot is still Tba.
Sajak passed off Wheel of Fortune hosting duties to Ryan Seacrest in his final episode, which aired on June 7. Seacrest will share hosting duties with longtime co-host Vanna White. Sajak has agreed to stay on as a consultant on Wheel for the next three years, said Suzanne Prete, EVP Game Shows at Sony Pictures Television.
