The Platform 2 Trailer Confirms Release Date, Dystopian Netflix Sequel Adds 2 New Stars
Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for The Platform 2. The movie is set to premiere on the platform on October 4. Natalia Tena and scar Jaenada are joining Milena Smit and Hovik Keuchkerian in the cast of the sequel.
A trailer, cast details, and release date have been revealed for the Netflix sequel The Platform 2. The original Spanish-language movie, which debuted in 2019, followed inmates of a vertical prison where the upper floors are treated better and have more access to food than the lower floors. The movie was nominated for three Goya Awards, winning one for Best Special Effects. The upcoming The Platform 2 was officially confirmed four years later, in May 2023, with original director Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia returning.
