Trailer Premiere: James Hetfield, Peter Dinklage, and Juliette Lewis Star in The Thicket
Metallica frontman James Hetfield is set to star in the dark Western thriller The Thicket alongside Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) and Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killers). Now, the trailer and first photos have been released from the movie, which is set to hit theaters September 6th via Tubi Films.
Hetfield plays a sheriff in the film, which features Dinklage as a bounty hunter who leads a group of outcasts on a mission to save a young girl from a violent killer played by Lewis. The movie, directed by Elliott Lester, is an adaptation of Joe Lansdale’s novel of the same name.

The marks the second time Hetfield has played a cop in a movie, having portrayed Officer Bob Hayward in the 2019 Ted Bundy biopic Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.
