Shonen Jump's Newest Title Suggests A Bold New Direction For The Manga Titan

Hima-Ten! brings a refreshing change to Weekly Shonen Jump with its romantic comedy genre and modern setting. The manga features a unique storyline with themes of family, self-fulfillment, and breaking gender stereotypes. Fans can enjoy Hima-Ten! for free on the Shueisha Manga Plus app, offering a break from the usual action shonen series.
As expected, most of the manga series that have been published in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine belong to the shonen genre. However, a new manga by Genki Ono began serialization on July 8, 2024. Its a romantic comedy called Hima-Ten! and its modern setting and classic tropes of the genre are something to look forward to as a refreshment of the magazine.
Hima-Ten! was featured on the cover of Weekly Shonen Jump #32. The first chapter was released in the issue and, with an impressive 54 pages and colored introductory pages, it gave the reader a decent look at what the series might be like.
