This Is What 'Survivor' Winners Did With Their $1 Million Cash Prize
Some Survivor winners, like Mike Gabler, choose to donate their prize money to charitable causes. Adam Klein donated $100,000 of his winnings to cancer research organizations after losing his mother to cancer. Tony Vlachos used his prize money to provide for his family, investing in a college fund and a pink chandelier.
Since Survivor premiered almost 25 years ago, there have been many seasons of varying quality. Similarly, there have been some amazing Survivor players who the fans love and some winners that fans consider to be the worst.
Still, if a player avoids getting injured like the first player to be medically evacuated did, and they are crowned the Sole Survivor, Jeff Probst awards them a $1 million prize. With that in mind, many Survivor fans want to know what the show's winners have done with their prize money.
