Clint Eastwood has revealed the sad news that his long term partner, Christina Sandera, has died at the age of 61. In a very brief statement, the Oscar-winning director announced the passing of Sandera, but offered no further details on the matter. A spokesman followed up on Eastwoods sad words by saying that no more details on the subject would be discussed. In his statement, Eastwood wrote:

Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.

The couple had been together for a decade, with Sandera and Eastwood becoming romantically linked in 2014 after the Western icons three decade marriage to first wife Maggie Johnson, which ended in 1984, and his second marriage to Dina Eastwood. The pair met in a restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea shortly after Eastwoods second divorce.
