Lisa Kudrow Calls ‘The Comeback’ Fandom ‘Thrilling,’ Says ‘We’re Due’ for a Third Season
“I don’t want to see that!” Or do you? That famous line from TV’s one-time “it-girl” Valerie Cherish may hold new meaning as the actress behind the character, Lisa Kudrow, shares an update on a possible comeback for “The Comeback.” In a recent interview with Newsweek for her latest show, Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement’s reinvention of Terry Gilliam’s “Time Bandits” for Apple TV+, Kudrow expressed her appreciation for fans of the cult HBO mockumentary series.
“I’m just thrilled and adore anyone who has the level of appreciation for ‘The Comeback’ that meets the level of pride I have for doing that show,” she said. “That is thrilling. I’m happy to hear that.”
