Brendan Fraser's Upcoming D-Day Movie Can Continue A Fantastic Trend For The Actor
Image
Brendan Fraser has been cast as Dwight D. Eisenhower in the upcoming D-Day movie Pressure, which could earn him another Oscar. The movie will focus on Eisenhower's relationship with weather expert James Stagg leading up to the Normandy landings. Pressure could be Fraser's next shot at an Oscar, following successful recent films.

Brendan Fraser has been cast to play Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower in the upcoming D-Day movie Pressure, and it could be the next movie to earn the actor an Academy Award. The movie will chronicle the tense days leading up to the Normandy landings. Andrew Scott has been cast in the other lead role as Britains Chief Meteorological Officer, James Stagg, who was tasked with informing Eisenhower about the weather conditions that could make or break their planned invasion on D-Day.

Hotel Mumbais Anthony Maras is set to direct the film, which will begin shooting in the UK in September.
