Andrew Scott has been cast in the other lead role as Britains Chief Meteorological Officer, James Stagg, who was tasked with informing Eisenhower about the weather conditions that could make or break their planned invasion on D-Day.
Hotel Mumbais Anthony Maras is set to direct the film, which will begin shooting in the UK in September.
