Stephen Curry Comedy Mr. Throwback Gets Peacock Release Date — Watch Him Crack Jokes in a New Trailer
Having conquered the NBA, basketball great Stephen Curry is now setting his sights on a new venture: TV comedy.
Curry stars alongside Adam Pally and Ego Nwodim in the new Peacock comedy Mr. Throwback, which will premiere Thursday, Aug. 8 on the streamer, TVLine has learned. Peacock has also unveiled a trailer for the series — which you can watch above — with Curry playing himself and Pally playing his sixth-grade teammate Danny Grossman, who’s fallen on hard times since his basketball glory days.
