Despite James Gunn and DC Studios not actually having a dedicated panel at this year's Comic-Con due to Superman shooting commitments, the filmmaker still found time to beam into San Diego during DC Comics Cco Jim Lee's "Jim Lee & Friends" panel to share an official teaser for his first Dcu 'Gods And Monsters' project. Written by Gunn and boasting an all-star voice cast including Anya Chalotra (The Witcher), Sean Gunn (Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3), Viola Davis (The Suicide Squad), and Frank Grillo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), the animated series follows the exploits of Task Force M — aka Task Force Monster — a black ops team assembled by government official Amanda Waller (Davis) after Task Force X are outlawed.
