Die aus Nrw stammende Editorin und Autorin Gabriele Voss wird am 14. Oktober zum Abschluss der 24. Ausgabe von Edimotion – Festival für Filmschnitt und Montagekunst mit dem Ehrenpreis Schnitt ausgezeichnet. Das gab das Festival heute bekannt.
Im Rahmen der Preisverleihung, bei der die 2019 für ihre Arbeit an „Of Fathers and Sons – Die Kinder des Kalifats“ mit dem Deutschen Filmpreis ausgezeichnete Editorin Anne Fabini die Laudatio auf Voss halten wird, wird Voss‘ aktuelle Arbeit „Vom Ende eines Zeitalters“, in der sie die Erfahrungen von Jahrzehnten des Strukturwandels in Fragmenten und collagenhaften filmischen Beobachtungen zusammenfasst, gezeigt. Im Anschluss findet im Filmhaus-Kino Köln ein Filmgespräch mit Gabriele Voss statt.
