Pom Pom Squad Announces New Album Mirror Starts Moving Without Me, Shares New Single “Spinning”: Stream

New York indie rock outfit Pom Pom Squad have announced Mirror Starts Moving Without Me, their sophomore album, out everywhere on October 25th via City Slang. They’ve also shared “Spinning,” the second single from the album.
Pom Pom Squad is led by Brooklyn musician Mia Berrin, who performs alongside guitarist Alex Mercuri and drummer Shelby Keller. The group previously shared the grunge-tinged “Downhill,” which was Pom Pom Squad’s first bit of new music since 2021. Now, the former CoSign is back with 11 new tracks that take inspiration from childhood, mental health, and identity.
“I took a lot of inspiration from my younger self on this album,” Berrin said in a press release. “I wanted to get back in touch with my creative roots. After hitting a particularly rough bout of writer’s block, I challenged myself to make a playlist of my all-time favorite songs from childhood to adulthood.
