Miles' transformation signals a new era for the hero, as Marvel's new vampire Spider-Man; in order to remain the iconic hero he has become, Miles will have to control his newfound thirst for blood. Marvel promised that the repercussions of Blood Hunt would last for years beyond the even, suggesting that Miles' vampiric transformation will last for some time.
