Die US-Schauspielerin Meg Ryan wird beim Sarajevo Film Festival (16. bis 23. August) mit dem Ehren-„Heart of Sarajevo“ ausgezeichnet. Wie das Festival heute bekannt gab, wird Ryan im Rahmen des Festivals „E-m@il für Dich“ präsentieren, der 1999 bei der fünften Ausgabe des Sarajevo Film Festival schon einmal zu sehen war, und dort in diesem Jahr im Rahmen des Open-Air-Kinos läuft. Darüber hinaus zeigt das Festival Meg Ryans zweite Regiearbeit „What Happens Later“ aus dem vergangenen Jahr. Meg Ryan wird in Sarajevo außerdem eine von Danis Tanovic moderierte Masterclass abhalten, in der sie dem Publikum Einblicke in ihre Karriere gewähren wird. Tanovic` aktueller Film „My Late Summer“ wird das Sarajevo Film Festival am 16. August eröffnen.
