Green Day Announce Mammoth American Idiot 20th Anniversary Box Set
Green Day have announced an expansive box set to commemorate the 20th anniversary of American Idiot.
Available as an 8xLP or 4xCD package beginning October 25th, 2024, the American Idiot 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition includes 15 unreleased demo recordings, a live performance of the band’s 2004 concert at Irving Plaza in New York City (including nine previously unreleased live recordings), and a variety of B-sides and bonus tracks. Both packages also contain two Blu-ray discs featuring a new 110-minute documentary, the film Heart Like A Hand Grenade, and various live performances.

Specific to the vinyl set will be a 36-page book, a large Green Day flag, and Billie Joe Armstrong’s iconic American Idiot red tie. Additionally, each LP comes pressed on its own unique color vinyl.
Also available on October 25th will be a limited-edition color vinyl of American Idiot, plus an audiophile “One-Step” release of the album.
