I Feel A Lot Better About Max's Fate In Stranger Things Season 5 Now
Sadie Sink's comments suggest Max Mayfield will have a significant role in Stranger Things season 5. Sink's tease about running hints at a physical involvement for Max despite her injuries. The Duffer Brothers have confirmed Sink's involvement in the final season, but are keeping her role a mystery.
The fate of Sadie Sink's character at the end of Stranger Things season 4 made me worried Max Mayfield would spend much of the final season sidelined, but a comment from the actress has eased my concerns. The cast of Stranger Things season 5 seems largely unchanged, which should allow time for a fitting farewell to all the main characters. Max only made her debut in Stranger Things season 2, but she's become a pivotal character who I think deserves to be part of what will surely be a thrilling finale - and it seems as though she will.
