‘X-Men ’97’ is Marvel’s latest animated hit, the show has scored consistently high ratings and was renewed for seasons 2 and 3 even before the first season finished its run. Behind closed doors, however, a true drama was playing out.

Beau DeMayo the creator and head writer of the show was fired just weeks before the show’s premiere and no reason has been given as to why. Neither the studio nor the writer commented on it.
