Bruce Timm’s Batman and Harley Quinn might not have taken off for the reasons that its creators wanted it to. One particular scene between Harley Quinn and Nightwing had fans equal parts disgusted and intrigued.

The scene in question had Nightwing tied up in Harley’s bed, with the latter getting really suggestive with her clothing and behavior. Bruce Timm himself talked about the scene being a minefield and admitted that it was not necessarily as important as some others. Fans on the internet reacted exactly how you would expect them to react.
