Simon could have been a great rival for Negan in Twd, with a fascinating character arc cut short. The Saviors are more than just villains, reflecting a darker version of Rick's group's evolution. Simon's violent beliefs clashed with Negan's, leading to a swift betrayal and his demise in an intense duel.
