Bleach's Most Hated Arc Was Created Specifically to Troll Fans
Ichigo's Fullbringer look in the Lost Substitute Soul Reaper arc was intentionally designed to unsettle fans. Tite Kubo's design philosophy for Ichigo's Fullbringer outfit was inspired by Tokusatsu heroes. Fans' rejection of Ichigo's new powers aligned with Kubo's goal to create relief when he returned to his Soul Reaper look.
