Upcoming Pacific Rim Show Is Paying Off 1 Of The Best Scenes In Guillermo Del Toros Kaiju Movie

The upcoming Pacific Rim TV show will be paying off one of the best scenes from Guillermo del Toros 2013 masterpiece. The Kaiju franchise, which debuted in 2013, has been a hit with audiences and critics, and has expanded its universe to include an animated series produced by Netflix. The franchise is set in the future, where the Earth is attacked by giant monsters. In response, the governments of the world create attack robots called Jaeger to defend humanity.
Although audiences were expecting a new Pacific Rim movie, the Pacific Rim universe will be expanding with a TV show instead. Unfortunately, Guillermo Del Toro will not be at the helm of the prequel. The TV show will be directed by Eric Heisserer. Details about the plot of the series are scarce, but it has been confirmed that the Pacific Rim TV show is currently in production.
