The Rings Of Power's World Map (& How It's Different From Lotr)

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power map has a few differences from the Middle-earth map in The Lord of the Rings, though these are mostly because of the thousands of years that take place between the two stories. Ever since Peter Jackson wrapped up his The Hobbit trilogy, the world had been clamoring for more live-action Middle-earth, and Amazon catered to this need with The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The LotR prequel show made several changes to the lore of Middle-earth, many of them divisive among hardcore Tolkien fans, and The Rings of Power Middle-earth map wasn't exempt from these alterations.
Middle-earth's map in The Rings of Power is quite different to the one Frodo and his Fellowship crossed in The Lord of the Rings. Set more than 3000 years earlier, The Rings of Power's Second Age geography offers some familiarity but only some.
