Nightbitch's first trailer has arrived, unveiling a new look at the Amy Adams horror-comedy. Directed by Marielle Heller, Nightbitch stars Adams as Mother, a suburban mother who comes to believe that she's transforming into a dog. The film, which also stars Scoot McNairy, Zo Chao, and Jessica Harper, is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival before a wide theatrical release later this year.

Now, Searchlight Pictures releases the first trailer for Nightbitch, teasing the film's absurd tone and commentary on motherhood and femininity. The trailer reveals that Adams' character, identified only as Mother, becomes increasingly frustrated with her life, slowly finding herself drawn to a dog lifestyle (and dogs are also drawn to her).
