TuneIn gets international audio rights to NFL games

The National Football League (NFL) has struck a deal with streaming audio platform TuneIn to offer live audio simulcasts of its regular season games in most parts of the world.
On Thursday, the NFL and TuneIn said football fans outside North America and China will be able to stream audio simulcasts of all games this season through TuneIn Premium, which varies in price based on market. SiriusXM continues to be the exclusive national distributor of NFL radio broadcasts in the United States, while teams have in-market agreements with local radio stations.
“Streaming audio continues to be a convenient and entertaining way to enjoy the play-by-play action of game day,” said Sameer Pabari, the Managing Director of International Media at the NFL. “We’re excited to continue to work with TuneIn to deliver high-quality audio coverage to our international fan base, as we strategically prioritize global growth.
