Applications Are Now Open For The Netflix Documentary Talent Fund
The Netflix Documentary Talent Fund has returned, inviting documentary filmmakers from across the UK and Ireland to showcase their talents. This year, five grants of £30,000 are available to support the creation of short documentaries, centered around the theme, “You’re never gonna believe this…”.

Whether applicants are first-time filmmakers or seasoned industry professionals, Netflix encourages them to apply. In the program’s first two years, 15 films were produced by filmmakers from diverse backgrounds, ranging from newcomers to established directors seeking a high-profile opportunity. These films have not only been screened on the Netflix Still Watching Channel but have also enjoyed successful runs at industry events and festivals throughout the UK and Ireland.
