In 2019, Anna was convicted of 8 felony counts, including grand larceny and theft, after she faked being a wealthy German heiress. After her 2022 release from prison, Anna was taken into Ice custody because she overstayed her visa. However, as she fights her deportation rights, Anna must wear an ankle monitor, which stunned DWTS fans when the network released her cast photo.
