Democratic National Committee References Taylor Swift’s Kamala Harris Endorsement In Times Square, Las Vegas Ads
The Democratic National Committee is capitalizing on Taylor Swift’s endorsement with a Times Square digital ad and Las Vegas strip billboards that make reference to the superstar.
Shortly after the end of the debate on Tuesday, Swift announced that she was backing Harris, posting on Instagram, “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”
The digital billboard in Times Square feature rotating images of Harris and the tagline, “We’re in our Kamala Harris!” and “A New Way Forward…Ready For It?” Those are references to Swift’s Eras tour and her song …Ready for It?
The spots also direct viewers to IWillVote.com, just as Swift directed her fans to voter registration.
The digital billboard is located 22 stories above the Red steps in Times Square.
