Following the phenomenal success of AMC's The Walking Dead, Into the Badlands brought audiences into another post-apocalyptic world, with a different set of rules. Into the Badlands is set 500 years into the future, in which seven barons control the Badlands. AMC canceling Into The Badlands after season 3 was not a surprise, as enthusiasm seemed to drop, but, it was disappointing, as a huge plot development in the Into the Badlands season 3 finale could have changed everything.
