There aren’t many films that grab you with the power of synergy between documentary and scripted story so you can physically feel what is unfolding in front of your eyes. In the case of Gabrielle Brady‘s mesmerizing hybrid “The Wolves Always Come At Night” which has just had its world premiere at Toronto this happens instantly, the moment the film opens with the shepherd spouses Davaa and Zaya, horseback riding through in Buutsagaan in the Bayankhongor Province of southern Mongolia to watch over their goats.
