Alex Edelman took home an Emmy for Alex Edelman: Just for Us, and while he was accepting the award at the 76th Primetime Emmys ceremony, he thanked Adam Brace. Edelman's comedy show Just for Us made its Off-Broadway debut in 2022 before making its way to Broadway in 2023. One year later, Max released a taped version of the variety special, which was then nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special. Edelman, who wrote Just for Us, won the award and was emotional while giving his acceptance speech.
Edelman is known for his comedy tours, starting with Millennial in 2014, and then moving on to Everything Handed to You in 2015 and Just for Us in 2018. Evidently, Just for Us has been the comedian's most successful show as it ran from 2018 to 2020 before being revived in 2022. Now, Just for Us has won an Emmy, partly thanks to Brace.
