Miranda Lambert Explains Why New Album Is ‘Full Circle’

Country music icon Miranda Lambert just released her eleventh studio album, Postcards from Texas. And, it’s a reflection of her entire music career, from it’s inception to now.

Miranda recently explained the general timeline of a county music album. According to her, new albums are expected every two to three years. Which means most of the time, the songs reflect those few years in between each one.

This tracks because in Miranda’s case, most of her albums have come out within three years of each other. However, for Postcards from Texas, it’s a bit of a different story.
While it has been released within the three-year window of her previous album Palomino, it’s not based on the past few years of her life.
