Emily Gold, who recently appeared on America's Got Talent as part of the Los Osos High School dance team, has died.

Emily, 17, appeared on Episode 1909 of America's Got Talent, which aired on August 13:
NBC Insider shared a video clip of the team's performance, adding that they were headed to the show's Quarterfinals.
However, the team was taken out of the running in Episode 1910, per a fan site for the reality TV competition:
"[The Los Osos High School dance team] did not receive enough votes to enter the top 5 of the night in Episode 1910, eliminating them from the competition instead of Richard Goodall."
