Time to say goodbye to another classic rock band. Reo Speedwagon recently announced that they would be retiring from touring at the end of the year due to “irreconcilable differences” between two bandmates. Issues arose last November, when longtime bassist Bruce Hall left to undergo back surgery. Matt Bissonette took over as touring bassist. During this time, drama began between Hall and lead vocalist Kevin Cronin, although the band is being tight-lipped about exactly what occurred. The band, featuring Hall, Cronin, guitarist Dave Amato, touring keyboardist Derek Hilland and drummer Bryan Hitt made an announcement that while the bandmates never had any intention of walking away, things cannot be solved between them, so they have to call off any tour dates after 2024.
