Jujutsu Kaisen: Gege Akutami Failed Megumi by Not Giving Him the Gojo-Level Power Upgrade He Deserves

When Jujutsu Kaisen first started out, it was Gojo himself who hinted at Megumi’s potential and his unique Cursed Technique. The Ten Shadows Technique is unique in many ways because it isn’t just the character alone who fights and takes the field, but also manifestations of his Cursed Energy that have minds of their own. Moreover, there are ten separate entities that function individually.

The potential that his Cursed Technique brought about was enough for fans to latch onto any moment he would get to showcase it. Gojo saw potential in him to someday become his equal, if not be able to surpass him. Some of these shadows were strong enough to challenge even the most formidable opponents. Mahoraga and Sukuna’s battle is a prominent example of this.
