As fans dip their toes back into the crime-infested world of Gotham City in HBO's The Penguin, director Matt Reeves recently revealed an exciting update about the long-awaited sequel to The Batman, which reportedly will begin filming in 2025.
Per Entertainment Weekly, Reeves revealed that the script for The Batman Part II has officially been finished, with plans to begin filming in 2025. While the acclaimed director won't reveal too much regarding the plot for the sequel, he did tease that "there's a period of time" that the sequel will jump too after the events of both The Batman and the spinoff series that's now streaming on Max.
