Game of Thrones surprisingly didnt include Lady Stoneheart, the reanimated form of Catelyn Stark after her death at the Red Wedding. Cat is among the many deaths at the Red Wedding in both the show and the books, but the epilogue of Martins third novel, A Storm of Swords, reveals she had been found in the river and brought back to life by Beric Dondarrion, who gave his life for hers.

This is not the Catelyn people knew before, though. Her throat is cut, her face is scarred, and she doesnt speak. She is, in effect, a zombified version, now going by the name Lady Stoneheart, and out for revenge.
