Every now and then a sports movie will come along, and we’ll all decide to watch it because it feels like it’s a default family setup. Sports movies are always a metaphor for hope, and you can’t argue with me otherwise. There’s something about underdogs that always makes you feel motivated, and that’s all there is to it.
